Val di Sole

This is a typical Alpine valley closed between the large perennial glaciers of the Ortles-Cevdale and Presanella ranges. Crossed by the river Nove, it is particularly bright due to its orientation and the gentle slopes. Much of the area is protected by the Stelvio National Park.
